Kay Warren Choose Joy Day 26

What can you do today to make another’s day better?

Is there someone who is hurting that needs comfort?

Do you know your neighbor?

  1. Love this….it’s the culmination of the sermons we have heard the past year or two!!! I think we are finally getting it after the Lord put someone really difficult in our lives – and we HAVE to love this person! LOL Love how the Lord works His mysterious ways!!!

  2. God does not make our lives difficult Julie or bring people into our lives to hurt us as we see confirmed below in Scripture, it’s our attitude towards others that makes a difference, we are not to judge others weakness and shortcomings critically. Yes some will hurt us but we are to Love even those who think we are their enemy, this does not mean we agree and accept the wrong they do and say, we are to be the Salt and we also remember God will use everything for good in our lives when we obey Him.

Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the Children of Men.

Matthew 5:43-45 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy Neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the Children of your Father which is in Heaven: for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Luke 6:26-28 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets. But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

Christian Love and Blessings – Anne.
