Is Love Blind? Julie Sheppard
You have heard the saying that love is blind. I recently came across something that caused me to think about this saying as more than an excuse for allowing hurtful or destructive behavior of one we love. This then made me think about how much God loves us.
John 3:16 (NKJV)
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
God sent His Son, Jesus to this earth, to pay the price for our sins. The price was His life. Both the Father and the Son knew that Jesus would not be coming to live a life of royal comfort.
