Seeing What You Want To See

If you want to see the beauty that is around you, you will see beauty. If you want to see the ugliness of this world you will see ugly. Yet if you really want to see the truth, then you will see both. This world around you has both love and hate, beauty and ugliness. Yet this world is temporary, and for those of us who have received Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are pilgrims only traveling through it.

  1. I agree with on this: beauty or ugliness, we can see the one we want to see. I was thinking along similar lines recently when I wrote on my FB wall that “Beauty begins from the heart. If you don’t have it there, hardly will we see it in our eyes.”
