In my previous post I talked about an assignment god had given to me a while back, which was to unify His body in prayer. For a number of years I have kept fliers, bulletins, business cards, pictures etc… of different churches, ministries, organizations, people, etc… to pray for. I had them placed in various places through out my home, so that when I looked at them, I would say a prayer for them. One day as I had walked through my home, I got an idea to gather them all together and I made this first prayer board. I then began making them for others so we could pray together for the same people, places, etc…, even though we did not live close together. We could pray in agreement and share the requests of prayer with each other. As I began sharing these boards, I began receiving requests for them. Then one day I heard God tell me that He wanted me to arrange a meeting with all the churches in the area to pray together, for each other and for this nation, and for all in need through out the world.

Matthew 18:18-20 Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. 19Again, I tell you truly that if two of you on the earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven. 20For where two or three gather together in My name, there am I with them.”…

Coming together whether near a far in agreement in prayer, to pray for our loved ones, ministries, leaders through out our nation and the world. Interceding for those in need, for those who can’t fight for themselves.

I had came close to holding a prayer meeting in our city park, and had interest of local churches willing to participate. Yet one thing after another happened to keep this from happening and after months of trying, I gave up. While writing my last post, I was redirected back to this assignment. This blog site and other social media is a way to still gather people together to pray for the variety of needs in our personal lives, ministries we are involved with or support, our homes, neighborhoods, our nation and its’ leaders, and those through out this world.

So I am asking you, my fellow bloggers to join me in this task. Share prayer requests, for your loved ones, ministries, organizations, etc… and let us pray together for each other and for the needs through out this world.

If you are in, please leave a comment, and share anything you would like to include in our prayers. Let us together cover the globe in unified prayer, like a quilt made of prayers. I hope to hear from you soon.

God bless you, and protect you.

1 Timothy 2:1-2 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.

  1. Hi Julie, there are so many things to focus on but for sure we should always be praying for those who are being persecuted for their faith in Christ in places like China, Russia, North Korea, India and basically any place where severe persecution is taking place. And as of late I have also been praying for Christians who are in prisons or jails. I’m thinking you are going to have a substantially long list. Prayers to our Lord are precious. Blessings!
