Giving Thanks December 31, 2016 – Thankful For The New Year

Another year has come and gone. I have continued to grow in Christ and learn new things with each passing day. God has done so much for me. He has been with me on the dark and gloomy days and has been with me on the bright and sunny days. He has given me hope for a better tomorrow. I do not know what this new year will bring to my life but I know what ever God has in store for me it will be a good year. All I have to do is listen to His instructions and obey His commands. I will be grateful for what each new day brings and give praise to my God. He is my shield and strong tower I need not to fear. I am loved and I am blessed. I am thankful for the friends and loved ones who are in my life and thankful for those who no longer are. God has been faithful and He always will be.

May God bless you with a joy filled and prosperous new year and may you and your family continue to grow in His love and hope.

Jeremiah 31:23-40 – The Future Prosperity Of God’s People

²³ Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, “Once again they will speak this word in the land of Judah and in its cities when I restore their fortunes, ‘The LORD bless you, O abode of righteousness, O holy hill!’ ²⁴ “Judah and all its cities will dwell together in it, the farmer and they who go about with flocks. ²⁵ “For I satisfy the weary ones and refresh everyone who languishes.”

²⁶ At this I awoke and looked, and my sleep was pleasant to me.

²⁷ “Behold, days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man and with the seed of beast. ²⁸“As I have watched over them to pluck up, to break down, to overthrow, to destroy and to bring disaster, so I will watch over them to build and to plant,” declares the LORD. ²⁹ “In those days they will not say again, ‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes, And the children’s teeth are set on edge.’

³⁰ “But everyone will die for his own iniquity; each man who eats the sour grapes, his teeth will be set on edge.

³¹ “Behold, days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, ³² not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,” declares the LORD. ³³ “But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the LORD, “I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. ³⁴ “They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the LORD, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”

³⁵ Thus says the LORD, Who gives the sun for light by day And the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar; The LORD of hosts is His name: ³⁶ “If this fixed order departs From before Me,” declares the LORD, “Then the offspring of Israel also will cease From being a nation before Me forever.”

³⁷ Thus says the LORD, “If the heavens above can be measured And the foundations of the earth searched out below, Then I will also cast off all the offspring of Israel For all that they have done,” declares the LORD.

³⁸ “Behold, days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when the city will be rebuilt for the LORD from the Tower of Hananel to the Corner Gate. ³⁹ “The measuring line will go out farther straight ahead to the hill Gareb; then it will turn to Goah.⁴⁰ “And the whole valley of the dead bodies and of the ashes, and all the fields as far as the brook Kidron, to the corner of the Horse Gate toward the east, shall be holy to the LORD; it will not be plucked up or overthrown anymore forever.”

 Deliverer

Church service today well it was good. Actually, great as always. Something happened while I was praying during altar call. I don’t know how to explain it.

My friend and her husband are the worship leaders for the Spanish service. Today I went to that service not the English. Anyway, she’s singing Victor’s Crown..which is one of my faves. Anyway, the part where they say..everything high thing must come down, every stronghold can be broken…if you’re  familiar with the song..when she began to sing that part..I’m praying, eyes closed and suddenly I’m in a dark place but can still hear the music. I start to envision my older son chained to a large block and he’s trying to break free, I see myself step on the chains and then I feel something bigger than myself step on the chains too, my son is struggling, he breaks the chains and he pushes through these huge doors and he starts running for his life to catch up to us (me, my daughter and younger son) I then see myself turn around and push that door closed..heavy doors..I see a huge man in a white robe battling with the chains. This vision happens in mere seconds..so emotional.for me, I didn’t realize I was crying. That’s never happened to me before. It was amazing, so much so I don’t know what to think.
I share this with my Lil big bro Carlos and I say, why? Why was I shown this? I sometimes still feel I’m not worthy of visions, messages, etc. Carlos says, “Andi when God wants to show you something He will do just that”. He knows I’ve been praying for my older son and said, “Maybe this was to show you that He will break your son free from bondage.”
Lately,  I’ve been sent messages through dreams so this one was shown to me when I was wide awake. I don’t doubt it, it just shook me.
I’ll say this again…you may believe me and some may not. I don’t have reason to lie or make this up. He hears us, speaks to us, shows us, and delivers us. Amen? AMEN!

Guest Post / Andi Garcia – Daughter of The King

HE WANTS YOU!

I had previously written about my surgery and it’s outcome, if you haven’t read it, you can find it here, Daughter of The King. I remember afterward I was being pursued. He was relentlessly seeking my attention. He kept saying for me to write and write, write, write. I just couldn’t take it anymore. So I started back up again and really writing, not on here, but to Him. I felt connected that way. But since the days of my recuperating, I have since been led to new ideas and new things. I won’t get into those here because I don’t think I’m to share that just yet. What I’m trying to get at is this, we have to be still and silent, to hear Him. He wants our attention. He wants to talk to us. He wants to show you what He has for you. He took me, I’d like to say, out of commission for awhile so I’d sit still. I was always on the go. He took certain things from me. At first, I thought it was a bout of bad luck, but in prayer and reading, He showed me that it was for me to be still, so I’d listen. I haven’t been able to return to crossfit bootcamp. I love crossfit bootcamp!! I loved how it left me feeling. I haven’t been able to do certain things because I can’t seem to afford them, when before it was no problem. I thought to myself, what the heck happened??? Just a few days ago, I was shown that. He “took” from me what I enjoyed the most, so that I would put Him first completely. Let me tell you, it worked. Whatever we love more than Him, He wants to take from us because He is a jealous God. I’m not saying we can’t love our families etc., I’m saying idols, things we usually put before Him. I realized that had I returned to crossfit when I was supposed to, I’d have missed out on meeting an amazing young woman, her name is Tiara, whom is God fearing and just has pure love for Him. We’ve been sharing ideas and have become good friends. He knows what He does and when and why. We think we have control…that’s the funny part. WE don’t have control of anything.

So, when you think you hear His voice. Stop! Sit still! Listen!! He’s leading you to your purpose. He’s wanting to spend time with you to show you why He loves you so much. Why you are here.

No one is bigger than He is. No one can do what He does. No one is greater than He. With God, all things are possible. Never forget that. Be blessed!!!! I know I am.

Giving Thanks December 30, 2016 – Thankful For Children

Psalms 127:3 – Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Proverbs 22:6 – Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

John 16:21 – A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

Isaiah 54:13 – And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great [shall be] the peace of thy children.

Proverbs 17:6 – Children’s children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.

3 John 1:4 – I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

Matthew 18:10 – Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

Children are gifts from God. They can bring joy and laughter. They can also bring tears and heartache. Yet life without them is empty. Thankful for all of the children who have blessed my life.

They Came Back!

In two of my previous post ‘Giving Thanks December 27, 2016 – Thankful That God Is Always There’, and ‘God Speaks To Me’ I wrote about the doves in the tree out my back door. The first I was only able to capture a photo of just one of the doves, and in the second three doves allowed me to take their photo.

I have seen a single dove and occasionally a pair while sitting on my porch but no more than that until this last week. The first day I had stepped out my back door to take the trash out I had wished that I had my camera on me but was able to quietly go back in my apartment and get my camera. When I came back out they were still in the tree until I stepped off my porch and all but one flew away.

Then on another day the tree was filled with these doves again. This time 3 remained and though the sky is gray and the branches were making it difficult to photograph them the stayed until I was able to take their picture.

Now a third day and they are back! This time not one dove flew away until I was able to photograph them. Yes once again the day is gray but these beautiful doves bring God’s beauty and hope into my life. Filling my heart with joy and peace knowing He is speaking to me of His great love and how this love is growing in me everyday.

Genesis 22:17  indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies.

 Genesis 1:28  God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Giving Thanks December 29, 2016 – Thankful for God’s Promises

When God speaks you can believe in what He says. For Jesus is the Truth, the Life, and The Way. Jesus is also the Word made flesh. God spoke the world into being and formed man out of the dust of the earth and breathed life into him. Unlike the people who come and go in our lives, God is alway there. When He makes a promise He keeps it. You can trust Him.

Joshua 23:14  “Now behold, today I am going the way of all the earth, and you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one word of all the good words which the LORD your God spoke concerning you has failed; all have been fulfilled for you, not one of them has failed.

1 John 2:25  This is the promise which He Himself made to us: eternal life.

Luke 18:27  But He said, “The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.”

Isaiah 26:3  “The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You.

Jeremiah 30:17  ‘For I will restore you to health And I will heal you of your wounds,’ declares the LORD, ‘Because they have called you an outcast, saying: “It is Zion; no one cares for her.”‘

I have been hurt, betrayed, rejected, abused, and abandoned but none of this matters in comparison to what God has done for me through His Son and my Savior Jesus. AS many times as people in my life have broken my trust, He is the One whom I can trust in all things. His promises He will keep and I am thankful for His promises.

A few years back I was talking to an old friend on the phone. At one point during the conversation I was discussing the importance of avoiding pornography. He chimed in and said, “What’s wrong with porn, man? I love porn.” Well, he’s not alone. So do millions of other people. That’s why it’s a multi-billion dollar industry. But what is it about pornography that we should pay serious attention to? And be cautious of?
